Students culminated the last day of school for 2017 with a relaxing (for them 😅) schedule of activities for students to explore. Students came back from their trip around the world with a suitcase full of memories learning about the different celebrations in different places. If your children came home hyper, that's because thanks to your help we had many treats and eats to enjoy here.
Thank you so much for your support this half of the year. Thank you to all who were able to give us a bountiful supply of food to enjoy. And thank you to all you students for making the Teacher's job the most amazing one anyone could have.😃
Our students are traveling the world this week. They packed their suitcases and will be visiting different countries to learn about traditions and celebrations in those places. China, Israel, Mexico, and Germany will be some of their destinations. Here we see students working on several activities related to those cultures.
Congratulations to our students of the month for these months and to our Bucket Filler of the month! Here are some pictures of the assembly and some of our activities throughout the day.
Many have asked how they can help our classroom. I'm happy to announce that we have officially started an online fundraiser to purchase some items to build our classroom!
As many of you have come to know, I am new to kindergarten and after a few months have assessed what may be beneficial to build our classroom environment. Please read the post, and if your circumstances permit, you may choose to donate any amount you wish.
Donor's Choose, the non-profit hosting the fundraiser, communicates this:
"Tell donors to double donations up to $50 by adding the promo code LIFTOFF at checkout for the next 8 days."
Thank you immensely for considering this, and feel free to post a screenshot of this to any of your social media pages! 🙏🏻😃
I'm an elementary school teacher that instructs multimodally, through music and experience. Look here for the happenings in our classroom.
